What is the fastest way to book?
A text to (757) 813-2204. Chef Rawles cooks most days and can’t always answer a call, but he sees texts quickly and replies personally. Calls and email work too — a text is simply the surest way to reach him the same day.
How far in advance should I book?
Two to three weeks is comfortable for a private dinner, and more for weddings, holidays, or larger catering. That said, it never hurts to ask about a shorter timeline — if the date is open, he will tell you.
Do you need my kitchen?
Yes, and that is the point. Chef Rawles has no restaurant or commercial kitchen — every plate is cooked in your home, vacation rental, or venue, sourced the same day and served the moment it leaves the pan. A standard home kitchen is all he needs.
What does it cost to reserve?
A 50% deposit reserves your date, with the balance due seven days before service. Per-guest pricing is published openly on the menus page — no hidden fees, no quote games.
