The Idea

Finally, host and guest at once.

The best dinner parties are the ones where the host is relaxed — and that almost never happens when the host is also the cook. Chef Rawles solves it by taking the entire kitchen off your plate.

He plans the menu with you, shops the day of, cooks everything on-site, and serves it either plated or family-style. You pour the wine and make the introductions; he handles the rest and leaves the kitchen spotless.

It is the difference between throwing a dinner party and actually attending one.

  • A Spotless FinishHe clears and cleans as he goes. When the last guest leaves, your kitchen is already back to normal.
The Format

Plated, or passed around.

A seated tasting menu makes for an elegant evening; family-style platters make for a warm, generous one. Chef Rawles is at home with both and will suggest what fits your group and your space.

Menus are seasonal and priced per guest, published openly, so the planning is quick and there are no surprises on the night.

Questions

Good to know.

How many guests works best for a dinner party?
Plated multi-course dinners are ideal from four up to around a dozen. Larger than that, the catering menus keep the same standard for a bigger crowd. Tell Chef Rawles the number and he will recommend the format.
Plated or family-style — which should I choose?
Both work. Plated feels more formal and paced; family-style feels warmer and more social. He will help you decide based on your group and the mood you want.
Can you accommodate several diets at one table?
Yes. Gluten-free, dairy-free, and vegetarian courses are built in at no extra charge — just share the details when you book.
